Founded in Milan in 1960, Torrescalla has been based in its current location in the heart of Città Studi since 1972.
College of Merit recognized by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR), Torrescalla offers a welcoming, family-like environment where students can experience their university years in a serene atmosphere, building authentic friendships and benefiting from many opportunities for personal growth. It hosts 70 out-of-town students and is a point of reference within the Milanese academic community.
Through its personalised educational program, Torrescalla helps university students deepen and complement their academic studies with the “soft skills” that are increasingly demanded by the job market.
Living at Torrescalla means becoming part of a close-knit community that shares study and leisure moments, supported by an attentive direction team and a staff that ensures careful management and full board service. Each student follows a personalized educational program, including cultural activities, soft-skill development, meetings with professionals, and initiatives to strengthen his competencies.
Like all residences of RUI Foundation, Torrescalla is inspired by the message of Saint Josemaría Escrivá, founder of Opus Dei. In addition to academic and community life, it offers a Christian environment where faith and culture engage in dialogue. Those who wish may freely receive spiritual formation.
Thanks to RUI Foundation’s national and international network, students can benefit from exchanges, experiences abroad, and lasting friendships. The hall of residence thus becomes an experience oriented toward the future: a place to grow, cultivate one’s talents, and build a solid foundation for adult life.
